All the feuds, as well as anticipation that have been surrounding the selection of India's Asia Cup squad, have finally come to an end. On Monday, skipper Rohit Sharma along with the selection Committee Chairman Ajit Agarkar unveiled a 17-person squad for the eagerly anticipated 2023 edition of the Asia Cup.
The squad selected for the tournament looked pretty much likely and as expected although there were speculations that the star India leg spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal was not being selected into the squad. Considering that the Asia Cup would be played in Sri Lankan conditions, having a leg spinner in the arsenal would have been a wiser move by the Indian team.
