Sanju Samson hasn't been included in the Indian squad for the last two T20I games of the three-match series against England. He has been selected for only the first T20I. The reason for his exclusion from the rest of the games is to accommodate the senior players in the team. For the unversed, the first-choice players won't be available for the first game as most of them will play the Test match till July 6.
Notably, the squad which played against South Africa and Ireland will be available for the first game. However, as the seniors are available for the second and third game, a lot of players will make their way for the veterans. Players such as Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson, Rahul Tripathi, and Venkatesh Iyer will be available for the first match only.
Meanwhile, Samson's exclusion has angered the fans a lot. After all, he is part of the squad for the opening game of the series. The right-hander got the opportunity to play the second T20I against Ireland which took place recently. The fans' happiness with his inclusion in the playing XI was clearly visible as they cheered the moment his name was announced in the playing XI during the toss. The right-hander made the best of the opportunity and scored 77 runs off 42 balls including nine fours and four sixes.
India’s squad for 1st T20I:
Rohit Sharma (Captain), Ishan Kishan, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rahul Tripathi, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Hardik Pandya, Venkatesh Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik
India’s squad for 2nd and 3rd T20I:
Rohit Sharma (Captain), Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Shreyas Iyer, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Rishabh Pant (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, Harshal Patel, Umran Malik
Sadly, for the fans, he won't be playing the full series against England. This is the reason they have taken to Twitter and lashed out.
This is how Twitter reacted

Knowing @BCCI sanju won't get an opportunity in that first T20 too.
They will stick with kishan and then Rohit will open along with him. It's just so unfair that players like gaekwad got a full 5 match series to prove their worth and sanju hasn't
Sometimes i feel for Sanju

This bcci don't give him fair chance and than they give him inconsistent tag
Totally injustice with him
Not only for me he is one of the best shorter format batsman at present#SanjuSamson #INDvsENG pic.twitter.com/4cGZDah9I0
This is a clear indication that #SanjuSamson won't be a part of T20 WC squad. If you are wondering why his fan base is growing day by day, it is because masses stay by the deserving underdog. #JusticeForSanjuSamson #bcci @BCCI

No wonder Sanju Samson has so many fans, bcci has made the entire country his fan with their injustice.

The @BCCI and @chetans1987 should explain to fans why they dropped a player whose last two innings in T20i are 77 and 39 respectively. If talent and form are not factors in team selection, tell us on what basis you are selecting the players. @SGanguly99 #SanjuSamson pic.twitter.com/CClrTxjZ5A

WHAT IS BCCI DOING?
— Unique For Life▫️ (@UniqueForLife_) June 30, 2022
It doesn’t matter to BCCI whether Sanju Samson performs or not. They just want to waste his talent. Even after scoring good runs in the last match, BCCI only saw what Deepak Hooda did. Do BCCI selectors smoke W€€D before Team selection?#SanjuSamson
