Kapil Dev opened a can of worms when he lambasted the team India for their below-par performance in the second ODI against West Indies. The West Indies won the second ODI by six wickets. In a lacklustre batting performance, the Indian Team collapsed for just 181 in just 40.5 overs. Kapil said the Indian players were acting very haughty because of the money coming in from the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Ravindra Jadeja however, put all those comments to rest as he said there is no arrogance present in the Men in Blue. "I don't know when he has said this. I don't search these things on social media. See everyone has their own opinion. Ex-player have full right to share their opinion, but I don't think there is any arrogance in this team," Jadeja told the press ahead of the Third ODI against West Indies.

There is no personal agenda between the players - Ravindra Jadeja

"Sometimes, when too much money comes, arrogance comes. These cricketers, they feel they know everything." Kapil had said in his earlier interview with the Week. In the second ODI, India tried out new combinations by resting Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The Men in Blue had also promoted Axar Patel to number four and Sanju Samson was given a game.

"Everyone is enjoying their cricket and everyone are hardworking. No one has taken anything for granted. They are giving their 100 percent. "Such comments generally come when the Indian team lost a match. This is a good bunch of boys, this is a good group. We are representing India and that is our main aim, there is no personal agenda,"

Kapil had also directed some very harsh comments to Jasprit Bumrah and said that India had wasted a lot of time on him. The star pacer was recently included in the Indian squad for the Ireland series and also named captain. India will play a three-match T20I series against Ireland before they play the Asia Cup which will be co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
