Celebrities indulging in a verbal dispute with a fan have become quite common these days. In such an incident, Sanjana Ganesan who is also a well-known sports broadcaster has garnered significant acclaim for skillfully addressing an online troll who body-shamed her. The incident occurred in response to a Valentine’s Day post featuring her husband, Jasprit Bumrah.
Indian cricket team pacer Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan who are a highly followed cricket couple, posted a video on their social media accounts in partnership with renowned beauty brand L'Oréal. The content received numerous favorable comments from fans, who viewed it as a pre-Valentine's Day treat showcasing the couple's chemistry. While the majority of reactions to the post were positive, a user upset Sanjana Ganesan by engaging in body shaming directed at the sports broadcaster.
Similarly, one of the comments read, “Bhabhi moti lg rhi hai (Sister-in-law is looking fat)."
Sanjana Ganesan admonished the troll for his remarks, questioning his character and education for even considering making such a comment. The now-deleted comment faced significant backlash from fans of both Bumrah and Sanjana.
"School ki science textbook toh yaad hoti nahi hai tumse, bada auraton ke bodies ke baare mein comment kar raho. Bhaago yaha se.." (You can’t even memorize the science textbooks from school and here you are commenting on female body shapes, scoot from here), said Ganesan in her reply.

Following the Visakhapatnam Test, Bumrah notably ascended to the top spot in the Test rankings for bowlers. The star India pacer is the leading wicket-taker in the series so far with 15 wickets to his name. The talismanic bowler has also accomplished a historic feat, becoming the first Indian fast bowler to achieve this milestone.
