‘Sanskari Bahu’ - Fans react to viral video of Ravindra Jadeja’s wife touching her husband’s feet after CSK’s IPL 2023 victory

On 29 May 2023, fans witnessed an epic IPL final between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. While chasing 171 runs, Ravindra Jadeja was on strike when CSK needed 10 runs off the last two balls. Then, he held his nerves and won the game by hitting one six and one four respectively.

After such a dramatic win, all CSK players were seen celebrating heavily among themselves and with their family members. Meanwhile, Jadeja’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja was also present and she also came to meet him. But, a video went viral where Rivaba was seen touching Jadeja’s feet. Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views.

Speaking about Rivaba Jadeja, she is a major part of the BJP party. She was given a ticket to contest the Gujarat Assembly election by the BJP and she won from the Jamnagar North seat. Speaking of the match, it was a great game for Jadeja as he took one wicket for 38 runs in four overs and also scored 15* runs off six balls, including one six and one four. MS Dhoni was over the moon with the win as he lifted the star all-rounder.   

After the win, Jadeja said: “Feels amazing, winning my fifth title in front of my home crowd. I'm from Gujarat, and it's a special feeling. This crowd has been amazing. They were waiting for rain to stop till late night, I'd like to say a big congratulations to the CSK fans who came to support us. I'd like to dedicate this win to a special member of the CSK side, MS Dhoni. I was just thinking I need to swing hard, as much as I can. Where the ball will go, I was not thinking about that, just looking to swing hard. I was backing myself and looking to hit straight, because I know Mohit can bowl those slower balls.”
