Sanju Samson’s wife trolls Indian T20 League’s broadcasters after Rajasthan reached the final

For the second time in the history of the Indian T20 League, Rajasthan have reached the final this season. The last time they reached the summit clash in the inaugural edition, they went on to clinch the title. Under the leadership of Sanju Samson, the franchise would be keen to lift their second title in the tournament’s history.

Rajasthan aren’t considered among the most popular and strongest teams in the competition. Their performance after the inaugural edition didn’t inspire a lot of confidence. However, ahead of the ongoing edition, they managed to compile a pretty solid squad.

With the likes of Jos Buttler, Samson, Boult, Chahar, and Ashwin in the team, Rajasthan were considered one of the favourites to lift the title. The franchise also lived up to the expectations as they finished at number 2 on the points table at the end of the league stage.

The 2008-winners lost to Gujarat in the qualifier 1 match but then beat Bangalore in the qualifier 2 to reach the summit clash. Rajasthan are set to face Gujarat in the final of the Indian T20 League 2022 at Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile, ahead of the final, Sanju Samson’s wife’s recent Instagram story has been doing the rounds on social media. Samson’s wife, Charulatha Samson has taken a dig at the Indian T20 League host broadcasters. After Rajasthan reached the final, she shared a screenshot from the video of the host broadcasters, which went on-air at the start of the competition. In the video, all the teams were present except Rajasthan and, perhaps, not a lot of people had observed that at that time.

“Saw this animated video showing the race for IPL 2022 on the first day of IPL. And wondered why there wasn’t any pink jersey.” Samson's wife wrote in her story.

In the next Instagram story, Charu shared an animated picture of Rajasthan Royals’ squad reaching the final and wrote: “AND FINALSSSS!!!!…..Grateful”.

With an outstanding performance this season, they have certainly made broadcasters realize that they are also a part of the competition and are force to be reckoned with.
