Trolling other teams on their loss is an almost new trend in the cricketing world. Cricketers usually take to social media for expressing their happiness about the loss of the other team. They went on to troll the team by uploading a photo on social media platforms of watching the match. Apart from that, their caption on the post also goes viral among cricket fans.
This trend has increased in the few last years. Recently, Bangladesh pacer Rubel Hossain posted a photo on social media with a caption in Bengali which translates, “Enjoying watching a do-or-die match for India”.
It is not something that any Bangladeshi player did on social media, six years back in 2016. It was time when former Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim also expressed his happiness when India lost to the West Indies in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2016.
Now, Rubel Hossain went on to take a dig at the Indian team on social media when India was playing against Sri Lanka in their second match of the super-4 match of the Asia Cup 2022.

Discussing furthermore the match between the Indians and Sri Lanka, then the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma played a very good knock of 72 runs off 41 runs with five boundaries and four sixes to his name. Other than him, Suryakumar Yadav scored 34 runs off 29 balls. With the help of these few knocks, India scored 173 runs losing eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Dilshan Madhushanka ended up as the highest wicket-taker for Sri Lanka with three scalps on his credit.
While chasing the target, the opening pair of Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis provided a very strong start to the Sri Lankan team. They both made a partnership of 97 runs for the first wicket in 11.1 overs. Nissanka and Mendis scored individual half-centuries with scores of 52 and 57 respectively.
Apart from these, the finishing knock of 33 runs off just 18 balls from the skipper Dasun Shanaka helped Sri Lanka to chase down the target in 19.5 overs with six wickets and one ball to spare.
