India skipper and veteran batter, Rohit Sharma is currently in the headlines of social media for his brave and heroic knock against Bangladesh. Rohit played this knock in the second of the three-match ODI series. The 35-year-old scored unbeaten 51 runs off just 28 balls with three boundaries and five sixes to his name.
Although the men in blue ended up on the wrong side of the match it was Rohit who caught the eyeballs of the cricketing fraternity. Everyone including cricket fans, former cricketers, and experts of the game hailed Rohit Sharma for brave intent.
In the same line of events, Rohit’s wife Ritika Sajdeh also came up with an emotional message for her husband. Sajdeh heaped praises on Rohit for the latter’s brilliant fighting knock against Bangladesh.
“I love you, and I’m so proud of the man you are. To go out like that and do that,” reads the message posted by Ritika on her Instagram handle.

Later on, Rohit Sharma also talked about his injury and informed that it was not that much serious a fracture.
“It (thumb injury) isn’t too great. Some dislocation and some stitches. Fortunately, not a fracture, so I was able to bat,” said Rohit Sharma in the post-match presentation.
Talking about cricket, India was given a target of 272 runs in the 50 overs. After crumbling down at 65 runs for the loss of four wickets. It was the time when middle-order batters, Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel took the charge. They both stitched a partnership of 107 runs for the fifth wicket.
Shreyas Iyer played a brilliant knock of 82 runs off 102 balls with six boundaries and three sixes to his name. Other than him, Axar Patel also scored crucial 56 runs off 56 balls with two boundaries and three sixes.
Eventually, India lost the match by a margin of 5 runs and they also lost the series by 0-2 with two consecutive defeats against the hosts.
