Rohit Sharma has been the most inspirational skipper in the history of the Mumbai franchise in the Indian T20 League. All five titles of the franchise have come under the captaincy of Rohit. His success in this rich-vein league has helped him to become the Indian skipper. Meanwhile, Pragyan Ojha played for the franchise from 2012 to 2015.

During that timeline, he won two Indian T20 League titles along with one Champions League title. Now, Pragyan Ojha has come up with a unique statement on the importance of Rohit’s captaincy for the franchise. He said that it is Rohit only who has made the franchise so successful with his captaincy skills.

“He knows that in such a high-intensity game, you will find players who are introverted.” - Pragyan Ojha on Rohit Sharma

While speaking on Jio Cinema, Ojha said: "Rohit Sharma made Mumbai franchise which they are today. The way he captained, won most trophies is just phenomenal". However, it was not the first time when the former team India spinner praised Rohit for his captaincy. He also opened up about the same matter when team India began their journey under Rohit’s captaincy. Ojha shared the differences between the captaincy of Rohit and Kohli.

While speaking on Cricbuzz, Ojha said: "Kohli is so energetic and expressive that a player who doesn't have similar nature has problems in expressing himself... he doesn't get an idea about expressing his thoughts to the skipper in intense situations. But Rohit isn't too expressive. He knows that in such a high-intensity game, you will find players who are introverted. This is a major difference in the character or approach of Kohli & Rohit,"

Overall, their intensity to win games is the same but many players say that they are comfortable with Rohit. Any new player takes time to open up... and Rohit makes that easier despite not being expressive on the field. A shy player gets a bit intimidated by Virat's in-your-face attitude. But the bigger goal of both Virat and Rohit is to take Indian cricket forward," Ojha concluded. But, fans did not like it and claimed that Ojha should stop to talk about Rohit Sharma all the time just for remaining in the limelight.
