Virat Kohli and Babar Azam are superstar cricketers in their respective countries. Currently, Kohli is in West Indies and busy playing the ongoing two-match Test series. While Babar is preparing hard in Sri Lanka as their two-match Test series against the Lankans is set to begin on 16 July 2023.
However, fans of them always come up with some comparisons regarding who is the best. Now, the former Pakistan pacer, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan hit the headlines by calling the Pakistan skipper solid more than the former Team India skipper. That video went viral and fans also shared their views.
Here is the shared video:
Former Pakistan pacer Rana Naved says Babar Azam is more technically sound than Virat Kohli, and Babar doesn't fail often.

He also believes he could get Virat Kohli out easily, he would get him out caught behind or in the slips. pic.twitter.com/ISt5xuwG8H
Rana Naved-ul-Hasan played 18 matches against India across all three formats
While speaking on the Nadir Ali podcast, Rana Naved was asked if he would have been able to dismiss either Kohli or Babar during his peak time in playing days. In reply to that, the former Pakistan pacer claimed that he would have dismissed Kohli. During that, he also claimed that the current Pakistan skipper is more technically solid than the former Team India skipper and that is why, he fails very rarely. However, on 15 October 2023, both these teams will clash with each other in the upcoming ODI World Cup at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Regarding that, Naved came up with another bold claim that Muslims in India have always supported a lot Pakistan. He said: "India is the favourite if there is any match in India. Muslims of India support Pakistan instead of India when Pakistan's match takes place in India." However, the first two matches of the World Cup for Pakistan will be played in Hyderabad. Even, they will play two practice matches in that same venue. Speaking about Rana Naved’s career, he played 87 matches for the Men in Green across all three formats. In those games, he took 133 wickets, at an economy of 5.12. Against India, in 18 matches he managed to take 35 wickets, at an economy of 5.40.
