When it comes to the batting composition of the Men in Blue, reports from the Indian Express indicate that Ishan Kishan is likely to get a chance and slot in the middle order. This comes after Kl Rahul is set to miss the first two of India's Asia Cup games. India wants to try out the man from Jharkhand at no 4 and 5 in the games against Pakistan and Nepal.

Ishan Kishan Has Primarily Played at the Top of the Order for India

Talking about Kishan, he has primarily batted at the top of the order for India. In the three ODIs against West Indies, he batted as an opener in Rohit Sharma's place and scored three half-centuries in all three games. Even for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) he has batted both at the middle and at the top order. Kishan however, has been more impactful at the top order.
