Ahead of the limited over series against West Indies, the Indian camp has been rocked by a COVID scare as three Indian players, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer and Ruturaj Gaikwad have tested positive for COVID-19, as reported by Sportstar. The players have been moved into quarantine and are taken care of by the medical staff.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are likely to announce the replacements soon. An official confirmation of the same though is pending.
The series gets underway with the ODI leg on February 6 in Ahmedabad, followed by matches on February 9 and 11 at the same venue. The T20Is will be played in Kolkata on February 16, 18 and 20.
