Zee News' sting operation surprised fans as he came up with some shocking statements regarding players, their fitness, and their relation with the other Board members. Chetan Sharma also opened up about Hardik Pandya.

He claimed that the new T20I captain of team India is a regular visitor to his house. He claimed: “Players come to my home to talk about their future. Hardik Pandya was sleeping on my sofa that day and talking to me. Hardik Pandya is the future of India. He's the most humble cricketer. He came to my house recently."

Hearing such a statement from the chief selector, fans went crazy and they raised their voice to remove the star all-rounder from the captaincy. So, Hardik Pandya has been given the duty to lead a younger side in the format while keeping an eye on the 20-20 World Cup in 2024. Chetan Sharma also said that players like Hardik Pandya, Umesh Yadav, and Deepak Hooda have come to his house to discuss their future.
