Due to this, over the last few days, the entire cricketing fraternity has been discussing several permutations and combinations for the upcoming edition, and so is Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder's cheeky response on Saturday managed to win the day. He gave a hilarious take on his ideal batting position for the Chennai Super Kings.

Star Sports Tamil had tweeted asking the fans to name their ideal playing XI for the defending champions. In this tweet, they kept seven spaces open for the fans to decide, and had Jadeja at eight, and the southpaw hilariously asked them to change his batting position.

"No 8 too early for me ! Put me @ 11🤣🤣," read Ravindra Jadeja's Tweet. Thus, this managed to entertain all the fans, and several of them even replied to his Tweet. The official broadcasters of the league then replied to the 33-year-old from their official account.

"Jaddu ne bola 11 pe batting karneka, matlab karneka! 😉," read the Tweet by Star Sports. (If Jadeja says that he will bat at 11, then he should bat at that position.) An important point to be noted is the fact alongside him, CSK have retained three other players.

Them being their skipper MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Moeen Ali. Thus, it is to be seen how the four-time champions go about their auction strategies. During the previous mega auction in 2018, the "Yellow Army" decided to back experience over youth, and picked a lot of senior players in their side.
