Recently, Rohit led team India to a 2-1 victory over the Aussies in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. But, now a video has gone viral where the team India skipper was seen in an Indian T20 League promo. After winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Ahmedabad, Rohit Sharma said that they were happy with teh final results from the series, But, as an individual, he could have performed better. Rohit opened the series with a century in Nagpur. But, after that, he failed to score big as Rohit scored 242 runs in six innings of the series.
Meanwhile, Rohit said: “Test match is a very hard-fought cricket and it is not easy. I know what kind of benchmark I have set for myself. I put the milestone aside. We got the result we wanted from the series. But I personally could have done better.”
“We knew how important it was to start the series well. The Delhi Test match was something that I am very proud of. We were behind in the game there but we showed a lot of character to come back from that position. In Indore, we came under pressure and lost the match. The players took responsibility during the series and got us out of trouble,” Rohit Sharma further added.
