The 23-year-old right-arm pacer made an international ODI debut against West Indies last month. He is showing great potential to join the famous rank of Pakistani pacers in the future. And now he posted a message for Dhoni on his Twitter account, wishing him a happy birthday and urging the legend to keep entertaining his fans for a few more years.

“To one of the all-time great entertainer & finisher, an inspiration and role model, I wish you a happy birthday sir. And sir You are still young & fit enough to play cricket, so please keep entertaining us for at least few more years,” Shahnawaz Dahani wrote in his tweet. The youngster also posted a picture of him posing with Dhoni as well. The veteran Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik also tweeted the birthday wish for Dhoni and said, “May moments of inspiration and wonder surround you.”

Dhoni led the team India to the 20-20 World Cup glory in 2007, where they beat Pakistan in the finals. He also guided India in winning the 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy. India also reached the first spot in the Test rankings under his captaincy in 2009. In the Indian T20 League, he has guided Chennai to four titles in 2010,2011, 2018, and 2021. He scored unbeaten 91 runs off 79 balls against Sri Lanka in the 2011 World Cup final and won the match by hitting a six at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the most memorable inning for the fans. He won the player of the match award for the same as well.

Dhoni, who retired from international cricket two years ago, was in London and celebrated his birthday with his family and friends. Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant, who is in London with the Indian team, also joined the party on Thursday.
