Five batters have recorded 13 ducks each, the third-highest number in the IPL history of ducks. In just 82 innings, Piyush Chawla recorded 13 such ducks, while Harbhajan Singh, Parthiv Patel, Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu accomplished the same feat in 90, 137, 148 and 175 innings, respectively. Surprisingly, accomplished batters like Rayudu and Rahane also appear so higher up this list.

Ajinkya Rahane has participated in 158 IPL games so far, amassing 4074 runs with a strike rate of 120.67 and an average of 30.86. Ambati Rayudu also significantly contributed to the competition and helped CSK win the title in 2018. Throughout the league, he has scored 4202 runs with an average of 28.97 and a strikeout percentage of 127.02. Parthiv Patel, a wicketkeeper-batsman, announced his retirement and was previously a member of the RCB team. At a strike rate of 120.78 and an average of 22.60, he has scored 2848 runs.

With 14 ducks each, Rohit Sharma is in second place. In 223 innings, Rohit Sharma has scored 5880 runs at an average of 30.15, helping Mumbai win five championships as captain. Over the years, Rohit has been the main pillar for MI at the top order. His blistering starts have helped the franchise in posting high totals across all grounds in India. However, recently, he managed to put an end to the drought of scoring fifties in the IPL. Rohit scored fifty against Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023 after a long gap of 808 days.

In the meantime, Dinesh Karthik, the wicket-keeper batsman and finisher for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, has previously played for the Delhi Daredevils, Gujarat Lions, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Mumbai Indians.
