Sports and Cricket Biopics have always created a sensation in India and across the world especially if there is cricket involved in it. In this regard, the trailer for Muttiah Muralitharan's biopic will be launched soon. The trailer of the film 800 will be unveiled by Sachin Tendulkar on Tuesday as per reports.

Madhur Mittal will be playing the Sri Lankan legend. According to reports, the film is to come out in multiple languages in October. The trailer launch will be held in Mumbai on Tuesday, September 5.ย  Tendulkar the former India cricketer will be there for the event along with a few other prominent cricketers as well. Tendulkar will be attending the event as chief guest.

Muttiah Muralitharan has played for four Indian Premier League teams in India

The India theatrical rights for the film 800 wrests in the hands of Sivakenka Krishna Prasad who is a well-known producer in Tollywood. He said the team behind the movie 800 was very happy and proud to host Tendulkar. The Mumbaikar had a very accomplished cricketing career and made 49 ODI Hundreds and 51 Test Hundreds in his career.

Prasad said that when it comes to the post-production phase of the film it is going on very smoothly. Muralitharan's wife will be played by Mahima Nambiyar in the movie. Murali's ancestors are from India and also his wife. That is where Murali has an Indian connection. The Sri Lankan spin wizard has been greatly involved in coaching in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Murali also played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK). When it comes to Test cricket Murali has 800 wickets to his name. The off-spinner made a mark as one of the greatest bowlers to grace the game. In ODIs, he picked up 534 wickets and last played in the 2011 World Cup where Sri Lanka were runners-up.
