Mumbai Indians players wished all the luck to Mumbai City FC, who’ll take on ATK Mohun Bagan in the summit clash of the Indian Super League at Fatorda Stadium. The IPL franchise, Mumbai Indians is hooting for Sergio Lobera’s side and wants them to end a phenomenal season with a ISL title. MI’s director of cricket operations, Zaheer Khan took to twitter and quoted "The season has been phenomenal so far. The final of ISL is around and I just want to wish all the luck and success in the finals. Do us proud give it your all 'trophy lekar aana',"
Hardik Pandya posted a video of him on Mumbai City’s Twitter page and wished his luck to the club.
"Good luck for the big final Mumbai City FC. Everyone here at Mumbai Indians is backing you, cheering for you. So bring the title where it belongs," said Hardik in a video posted on Mumbai City FC Twitter.
Suryakumar Yadav also extended his wishes to the club.
"It's final time, play well play hard and bring the trophy to Mumbai," he said.
Both Mumbai FC and Mohun Bagan come into the final with 12 wins and 4 losses. This will be the first final for the Mumbai FC but few of their players have played a final for FC Goa in the 2018-19 season. ATKMB striker Roy Krishna and Goa’s Igor are in line for the golden boot with 14 goals each. As for the golden glove, Mumbai’s Amrinder Singh and ATKMB’s Arindam Bhattacharja are in contention. Both players have 10 clean sheets to their name but Arindam is ahead as he has conceded lesser goals.
