England and Pakistan locked horns in the second of the three-match Test series. Both teams played this match at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The visitors outplayed the Pakistan team by 26 taking the winning lead of 2-0 in the series. The three lions’ skipper Ben Stokes won the flip of the coin and decided to bat first at the spin-friendly turf of MCS in Multan.

Batting first, Ben Stokes & co posted a total of 281 runs in 51.4 overs including half-century knocks from Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope. The young debutant from Pakistan, Abrar Ahmed stunned everyone with his amazing performance by scalping seven wickets conceding 114 runs in 22 overs. Abrar’s state mate from Sindh, Zahid Mahmood accompanied the former by claiming the wickets of three England batters.

Cut to the fourth day of the match, Pakistan was comfortably heading towards the target of 355 runs in the fourth innings of the match having Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Nawaz in the middle. But the sudden collapse of the lower middle order ended up leaving Pakistan on the wrong side of the match. Eventually, they lost the match by 26 runs and also lost the series with a margin of 0-2.
