Sri Lanka and Pakistan are facing each other in the second of the three-match Test series at Galle International Cricket Stadium. Salman Ali Agha was the only batter who seemed to struggle against the bowling attack of Sri Lanka. He played a vital knock of 62 runs. Imam-ul-Haq ended up as the second leading run-scorer with 32 runs.
Starting the second innings with a big lead of 147 runs, Sri Lanka batters showcased an amazing display of batting. Dhananjay de Silva’s magnificent century-knock of 109 runs alongside skipper Dimuth Karunaratne’s 61-run-inning. Their partnership helped Sri Lanka to set a massive total of 508 runs for the visitors.
Speaking of the two-match Test series so far, then Pakistan is currently leading the series with a score line of 1-0. Babar Azam’s men clinched an emphatic victory in the opening fixture of the Test series against the hosts. Notably, this test series between Sri Lanka and Pakistan is a part of the World Test championship.
