Former legendary Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar was not looking impressed with the Indian team’s performance against South Africa in the ongoing third match of their campaign in the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Shoaib’s frustration can be understood as India’s win is something must require for Pakistan to qualify for the knockouts of the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup 2022.
Earlier, a few days ago, the 47-year-old veteran was in the headlines of social media for his cursing remarks about the Indian team.
“I said earlier that they (Pakistan) will come back, and India will come back in the next week as they are also not undefeated,” said Akhtar.
Changing his tone, a bit this time, Akhtar looked in a state of helplessness during his video tweet.
“Maine kaha thaa video mei India needs to win for Pakistan. Pakistan ko marwana nahi hai… Yeh to Pakistan ko Marwa rahe hai. 4 out karwa diye pata nahi aage kya hota hai (I said in the video that India needs to win for Pakistan rather than ruining their hopes. They are destroying Pakistan’s hopes. Got four out, no idea what’s going to happen ahead in the match," said Akhtar in the short video on his official Twitter handle.
Here's what Akhtar said in his video:

Speaking of the match so far, the Indians are now defending the not-much-decent total of 134 runs. Suryakumar Yadav has been the only Indian batter to end up as the leading run-scorer for his team with his brilliant knock of 68 runs off just 40 balls with six boundaries and three maximums to his name.
Lungi Ngidi stunned and impressed everyone with his stellar bowling performance in the match by scalping four wickets conceding 29 runs in his quota of four overs.
While chasing the target, South Africa has scored 67 runs for the loss of three wickets in 12.4 overs at the time of filling this copy. Aiden Markram and David Miller are there in the middle with knocks of 36 and 16 runs respectively.
