South Africa and the Netherlands locked horns in the 40th match of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. South African skipper Temba Bavuma won the toss and asked the Dutch team to bat first at the turf of Adelaide Oval in Oval. Batting First, the Netherlands scored a total of 158 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
While chasing the target, the Proteas team unexpectedly fell 14 runs short of the target of 159 runs and lost the match by 13 runs. Cricket fans were also left in shock following this upset on a very crucial day in the 20-20 World Cup.

Speaking of the match, star middle-order batter Colin Ackermann played a brilliant knock of 41 runs off just 26 balls with three boundaries and two sixes to his name. Other than Ackermann, senior batter Stephen Myburgh also played a knock of 37 runs off just 30 balls with seven boundaries in his account.
Alongside the knocks from Myburgh and Ackermann, Tom Cooper also played a knock of 35 runs off just 19 balls with two boundaries and the same number of pf sixes on his credit.
