Pakistani cricketer Asif Afridi uploaded a photo of his daughter in the hospital and asked for prayers for her quick recovery from people all around the world. Afridi is a domestic player in Pakistan who is still awaiting his international debut. He has been around First-Class cricket since 2009.

Afridi was fairly impressive for the Multan Sultans in PSL 2022, claiming eight wickets in five games at an economy rate of 6.52. He just received his first call-up to the Pakistan T20I team against Australia, but did not play a game. He comes in as a replacement for Mohammad Nawaz, and he will be eager to make an impression when given the opportunity.

In the meantime, the image of her daughter in the hospital with wires attached to her head was heartbreaking. Former Pakistan cricketers like Umar Gul and Salman Butt have all shown their support. They also responded to his post by wishing the tiny baby good health. "Plz everyone pray for my daughter's health," Afridi wrote in his tweet.

Afridi most recently played for the Khyber in Pakistan's List A tournament, where he made a half-century down the order while also picking up wickets on a regular basis. He is not, however, part of Pakistan's team for the forthcoming three-match ODI series against West Indies, which begins on June 8th at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan will be playing cricket after a break of two long months. They did, however, begin their practice sessions at the High-Performance Centre (HPC) a few weeks ago. This extended break has allowed the team to recharge themselves and prepare for the crucial series against the West Indies.
