Speaking of the match, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill gave a solid start to the Men in Blue. They put up an opening partnership of 121 runs in 16.4 overs. Rohit scored 56 runs off 49 balls while Gill scored 58 runs off 52 balls. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were on the crease when the rain hit and the team scored 147 runs for two wickets. Hence, while speaking on his YouTube channel, as quoted by Sportskeeda, Aakash Chopra heaped high praises for the Pakistan wicketkeeper. He said: "Mohammad Rizwan - I like this player a lot. He is a warrior and he keeps fighting. The more pressure you put on him, the more he flourishes. Whether you play him in T20Is, ODIs or Tests, somehow whenever Pakistan are struggling, it brings the best out of him." As of now, he has batted only twice in this ongoing tournament and scored 107 runs, including one fifty.
