Recently, the US launched a drone attack to kill Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in Kabul. But just after the two days of this incident, one of the Taliban officials Sirajuddin Haqqani talked about the cricketing relations of Afghanistan with one of the major South Asian powers, India.

He also feels that the common people of Afghanistan including the sportspersons have gone through a tough time. They were on the receiving end of conflicts, tensions, and carnage.

Two days before a US drone attack in Kabul killed Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, Taliban official Sirajuddin Haqqani expressed support for India and Afghanistan having cricket relations in an interview with News18.

One of the most wanted terrorists on the list of the FBI also responded in a positive gesture on the question of the permission or support of the Taliban government for the Indian cricketers to participate in the Indian T20 League. “The game is a way to forge "love and unitedness" amongst people,” said Haqqani.

Talibani leader also extended his supportive gesture to India and the Indian cricket team. Just after a few seconds of coming out of this news, the Indian cricket fans came up with some completely different opinions. They went on to advise the Taliban that they should play only their own team in the league and leave thinking about team India.

Recently, two days back, the blast in Kabul on July 29 during the Shpageeza Cricket League game. This chaos also involved the spectators who were watching the match there in the stadium.

Some sources have also learned that the city of Kabul sustained another suicide blast during the Afghanistan Premier T20 match.
