Jaydev Unadkat is yet to find a breakthrough as Ravichandran Ashwin, Mukesh Kumar, and Mohammed Siraj have all scalped one wicket each. Earlier, guided by Virat Kohli’s 29th Test ton on his 500th international game, India had posted a mammoth total of 438 runs. In reply West Indies have reached 229/5 at the end of Day 3, trailing the visitors by another 209 runs. Even though Day 3 was shortened by rain, India appear to be ahead in the game. With two day’s play remaining the visitors will look to get the first innings of West Indies wrapped up soon. Although a bit far-fetched, a win for them could be on the cards as a draw seems the likeliest.
