Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are the current leader in the ongoing IPL. Out of seven matches so far, they have won five games. Now, they will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the next game. However, Devon Conway has been in great form for the franchise in the last few matches. His knocks helped the team to post big totals on the board.

However, Ruturaj Gaikwad had a good start to the tournament. But, in the last few games, he seemed to play the second-fiddle role to Conway and failed to score big. Now, ahead of the RR clash, a selfie of Gaikwad has gone viral where he was seen with Conway and his wife. The image seemed to be taken on a flight. Seeing that, fans shared some funny tweets on social media.

Devon Conway is currently at the second spot in the race for Orange Cap this year. In seven matches, the Kiwi opener has scored 314 runs, at an average of 52.33. He has scored four fifties so far. All of them have come in the last four back-to-back matches. On the other hand, Ruturaj Gaikwad has scored 270 runs in seven matches, at an average of 45. But, he has managed only two fifties. The young CSK batter is currently in the fifth position in the race for Orange Cap.

Both these players have helped CSK to get good starts and set a solid foundation for other batters to come in and play their shots according to the match situation. In the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), they scored 73 runs for the first wicket in just 7.3 overs. Regarding that partnership, Conway said: “Yeah, I think my partnership with Rutu calms the nerves. A lot of credit needs to go to Rutu. Just trying to be as clear as possible. I've always had an issue with the ball on the body, but have been getting over it. By using my feet , I get into good positions and get momentum.”
