Bangalore have had a superb run in the ongoing Indian T20 League 2022 so far. After qualifying for the playoffs, they managed to beat Lucknow in the Eliminator. Thus, they are now set to face Rajasthan in the Qualifier 2 on March 27.
It is to be noted that the Bangalore-based franchise won an Eliminator for the first time since 2015. As a matter of fact, the previous two editions of the tournament saw them lose in the Eliminator itself. Thus, the fans of the franchise would hope that the Faf du Plessis-led side beat the 2008-champions in the second qualifier, and make it to the grand finale of this edition.
Australia's Marnus Labuschagne expressed his support for Bangalore as well. He recently took to Twitter to post a poll. While the three options in the poll consisted of Bangalore, Rajasthan and Gujarat, he asked his followers their thoughts on who could win the 2022 edition.
Who wins the IPL from here? #IPL2022

To which, a user asked him his opinion. "Who do yu want to win marnus? I am rooting to rcb. Btw not a fan of any of the 3 teams" read the user's Tweet. Labuschagne replied to this Tweet by saying Bangalore. He was of the opinion that Virat Kohli will "go big".

"RCB - @imVkohli will go big" read Marnus Labuschagne's reply. Thus, it didn't take too long for the same to go viral. Kohli and Bangalore fans were pleased with his response. In the meanwhile, Gujarat booked a spot in the final after they beat Rajasthan during the Qualifier 1. Thus the winner of Qualifier 2 shall face the Hardik Pandya-led side in the grand finale of this edition.

As for Labuschagne, he will now be seen in action during Australia's tour to Sri Lanka. The Aussies are set to tour the island nation next month. After a below-par performance with the bat during the Test series against Pakistan, Australia's number three batter would want to once again score runs for fun in the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Besides, his numbers in the longest format of the game are exceptional, to say the least. So far, the 27-year-old has scored 2390 runs in 26 Tests at an average of 54.33. This includes six hundreds as well.
