The tension and rift between senior India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Indian T20 League team Chennai were one of the prominently discussed topics since the conclusion of the Indian T20 League 2022. The rumors and speculations are there on social for the last six months.

In the developing line of events, there is also an update on the 33-year-old all-rounder’s future with Chennai. As the 15th of November is the deadline for the teams to complete their trade approaching. Meanwhile, some of the teams have approached the star all-rounder but MS Dhoni has expressed that he is keen to go ahead with the southpaw.

Notably, Jadeja was appointed as the skipper of the team in the 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League as senior wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni stepped down from the role. Subsequently, Chennai lost a lot of matches consecutively and the team’s performance was on the receiving end of harsh criticism from the former cricketers and experts of the game.

Later on, the alleged rift between Jadeja and Chennai prolonged the space of social media. Everybody was left stunned when the Saurashtra-born cricketer deleted all the posts from his Instagram handle that were involving his franchise.

Currently, Jadeja is not in action on the field in international cricket as he was ruled out of the Asia Cup 2022 due to a knee injury. In further developments, he was also ruled out of the ongoing edition of the 20-20 World Cup.
