Virat Kohli is all set to play his 100 Test on Friday, as India take on Sri Lanka in the first of the two-match Test series. Owing to his records and achievements, there is a lot of hype around his 100th red-ball game. Thus, Irfan Pathan had some really pleasing words for the batting maestro ahead of India's first Test.
Since making his debut in the longest format of the game in 2011, Kohli has scored 7962 runs in 168 innings at an average of 50.39. This includes 27 hundreds as well as seven double hundreds. Besides, the legend has always prioritized Test cricket over all other formats of the game.

In the meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly also had heaps of praises for modern-day great. He spoke about how he has been following Kohli's game. In a video released by the Indian board, the BCCI president stated that the 33-year-old's game has now gone to greatness.
"I haven’t played with him. But I have always followed his game. Having been involved in different capacities, I have always tracked his cricket. I have seen his career from when it started and how it took a different turn after a few years and it has now gone to greatness," said Sourav Ganguly.
