The second season of the Legends League Cricket has ended with Gautam Gambhir-led India Capitals as the champions. The Capitals defeated the Bhilwara Kings by a massive margin of 104 runs in the title clash of the tournament to lift the trophy. Both teams played this match at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur.
After facing some early blows, the India capitals managed to post a big total of 211 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs. While chasing the target, Kings got all out only on the score of 107 runs in 18.2 overs and lost the match by a mammoth margin.
Although, this title win came a bit sour for Gautam Gambhir as he ended up being on the receiving end of trolling by MS Dhoni fans. The ardent MSD fans took no time in asking everyone to give credit to Gautam Gambhir so that he can stop his rant on Indiaβs ODI World Cup win in 2011.
Hereβs how fans went after Gautam Gambhir following the LLC title win:
Let's hope he gets some credit here so that he can Stop Crying about 2011 WCπ

Speaking of the final match between the Capitals and the Kings, then the former Kiwi veteran Ross Taylor played another swashbuckling knock of 82 runs off just 41 balls alongside Mitchell Johnsonβs blistering 62 off just 35 balls. Both of these veterans stitched an outstanding partnership of 126 runs for the fifth wicket. On the backs of these knocks, the Capitals crossed the mark of 200 runs in the first innings.
While chasing the target, the Kings started crumbling in the start as they lost their big wickets like Morne van Wyk and William Porterfield on the low individual scores of five and 12 runs respectively. Unfortunately, the big gun Shane Watson also got run out at the score of 27 runs.
Eventually, India Capitals ended up being the Champions for the 2022 edition of the Legends League cricket with a handsome win in the final of the tournament.
