Akram lashes out after Hasan Raza's controversial remark
Wasim Akram strongly criticized former Pakistan cricketer Hasan Raza for his comments suggesting that Indian bowlers are receiving "different and suspicious balls" in the 2023 World Cup. Akram, Pakistan's top wicket-taker in international cricket, expressed his disapproval of these remarks, emphasizing that such comments could lead to embarrassment.
Raza made these comments following India's victory over Sri Lanka by 302 runs on November 2 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In a remarkable performance, India successfully defended a massive total of 358 by bowling out the Sri Lankan team for just 55 runs in 19.4 overs.
“I have been reading about it for the last couple of days. I want to have the same thing these guys are having, sounds like fun because their mind is not there. You will embarrass yourself and you will get us humiliated as well in front of the whole world,” Akram said on A Sports.
