The 30-year-old made his first appearance for Pakistan at the highest level of the game 13 years back in the 20-20 World Cup 2009. He was only a 17-year-old teenager at that time. The Punjabi lad gradually cemented his place in the national team with his consistency and back-t0-back impressive performances.

Things went south for Mohammad Amir in his career when he was banned from the international after he was found involved in a spot-fixing. It all happened during the infamous Lord’s Test between England and Pakistan in September 2010. He played a few matches after his ban was revoked but couldn’t make it permanent since then.

Recently, the Pakistan Cricket Board denied a NOC to Amir for playing Abu Dhabi T10 League. Following this, the 2009 20-20 World Cup winner bowler has reacted to the decision of the board.
