Rishabh Pant is showing great signs of recovery. The Delhi batter was seen doing high-intensity workouts at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Pant was seen running at a good speed and was looking in good shape. When Pant shared the videos on social media, they were very happy with the improvement shown. They were upbeat but said that he needed to lose some more kilos.

Some of the fans went a step further and said that he was looking fitter than Rohit Sharma. Sometime back videos of Rishabh Pant, running on the treadmill, doing workouts and also climbing the stairs surfaced online. Pant was really trying hard to set targets and get better at doing things as soon as possible. The 25-year-old met with a near-fatal accident in December 2022 when he was travelling from Delhi to Roorkee.

Rishab Pant has played 33 Test matches and scored five hundreds for India

Recently, Pant was also seen hitting a six in a game. The video of which went viral. He last played a Test series for India in Bangladesh which comprised of two Test matches. The left-hander has hit Test hundreds in England and Australia. He got into the Indian team for his T20 exploits but has excelled in Test match cricket beautifully and surprised many.

Reports said that Pant would make a comeback in the upcoming Test series against England which will be played in India. During the Indian Premier League (IPL) Delhi Capitals (DC) hung his jersey at the team dugout as a tribute to him. Pant also attended a few IPL games at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

When it comes to Test cricket Pant has played 33 matches for the national side. He has scored 2271 runs at an average of 43.67 and at a strike rate of 73.63. The left-hander has struck five centuries and eleven fifties in the white flannels for India. When it comes to the Men in Blue, they will be playing their second game in the Asia Cup against Nepal. They will want to win the game and bag two points.
