Lanka Premier League: Galle Gladiators: Schedule with Venue, Date, Match Timings and PDF Download

The second edition of the Lanka Premier League will be played from December 5-23. The format of the tournament has been changed. It will now follow an IPL template where the teams will play a playoff round which will consist of two qualifiers, one eliminator and the final.

Among the five teams that competed in the last edition, three have been terminated. This means that three new teams have been added to the tournament.

Galle Gladiators are one of the teams that have managed to hold on to their place. Galle Gladiators were very lucky to reach the finals in the last season. In the league stage, they played 8 games but only managed to win two matches. They barely managed to reach the semifinals where they picked up a close win over Colombo Kings. However, they lost to Jaffna Stallions in the finals.

They will be hoping for a change in their fortunes after roping in players like Mohammad Hafeez, Isuru Udana, Tabraiz Shamsi, Mohammed Amir, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Ben Dunk, Danushka Gunathilaka, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dananjaya Lakshan, Anwar Ali among others.
