Pakistan Super League season seven trophy tour continued at the Wagah Border in Lahore. The border is situated between Amritsar and Lahore. The occasion was the 'daily flag ceremony' which takes place at the border. The trophy was handed over to the rangers and the people, who came to watch the ceremony. The tour started with the trophy visiting the hometowns of Qalandars' players.

Lahore Qalandars' CEO Atif Rana, Coach Aqib Javed, Deputy DG Rangers Brigadier Shehzad, and Deputy Commissioner of Lahore Captain R Usman were present on the occasion. The trophy tour started with Shaheen Afridi's hometown visit, which continued to the hometown visits of other members of the team such as Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Zaman Khan, etc. The trophy was also taken to the various colleges and universities in Lahore.

The tour was conducted to celebrate the team's maiden title victory in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022. Lahore Qalandars defeated defending champions Multan Sultans in the final. The former had come close to winning their maiden in 2020, when they played the final against Karachi Kings. However, they lost the game on a sluggish surface of the National Stadium in Karachi.

After the game, Fawad Rana, owner of the team complained about the surface provided for such a big game. He added that his side had stroke players who couldn't score big as the ball stopped on the surface. The team disappointment its fan base from 2016 to 2019, and in 2021 where they failed to make an impact and finished outside the playoffs. However, their dream come true in 2022.The fans in Lahore jammed the streets after their title win. .
