Former Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra happened to mock the teams of Bangladesh and Pakistan following India’s win over both in the super-12 round of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Mishra tried to create humor by mentioning that the men in blue anyhow deliver their best when they play against the teams who wear green jerseys.
For Sure, Mishra was targeting the national teams of Pakistan and Bangladesh who lost against India in their respective matches of the super-12 round.
There is something special about the green jerseys that brings the best out of us. An absolute thriller and an amazing captaincy by Rohit Sharma.
“Obviously, this was a knock against Shakib al Hasan and Babar Azam’s squads, both of whom were beaten, albeit extremely narrowly, by Team India during the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022,” reads the tweet posted by Mishra on his official Twitter handle.

Let alone the Pakistan or Bangladesh fans, these remarks from Mishra didn’t go down well with Indian fans themselves. They took no time in lashing out at the former leggie on social media, Twitter for his derogatory remarks, or an obsession with color.
Here’s how fans reacted to Amit Mishra's tweet:
Agenda poora hona chahiye iska bas..

Speaking of the Indian team’s campaign in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup so far, they have won three out of the four matches they played against Pakistan, Netherlands, South Africa, and Bangladesh respectively. Rohit Sharma’s men have lost only against the South Africans by a margin of five wickets.
Now, the men in blue will lock horns with Zimbabwe in their last super-12 match of the tournament. Notably, Zimbabwe is the very team that outplayed Pakistan by a margin of one run in a nail-biting thriller.
Talking Pakistan, they have recently won against South Africa in a rain-affected match by a margin of 33 runs (DLS Method).
