The ongoing second of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and New Zealand is will enter the fifth day tomorrow Friday, the 6th of January. Riding on the back of brilliant knocks of 74 runs each by wicketkeeper-batter Tom Blundell and Michael Bracewell alongside opener Tom Latham’s 62-run knock helped the visitors to post a total of 277 runs for the loss of five wickets before skipper Tim Southee declared the second innings of New Zealand.
So, the Blackcaps posted a target of 319 runs for the hosts to win the second Test match being played at the National Stadium in Karachi. To start the run-chase, the opening pair of Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq came in the middle to start the proceedings for the hosts.
But skipper Tim Southee and senior spinner Ish Sodhi had some other plans at the end of the fourth day. The duo completely destroyed the top order of Pakistan by scalping two wickets without conceding even a single run.
The cricket fans of Pakistan itself couldn’t keep calm following this embarrassing start of the run-chase by the hosts. They took to Twitter to lash out and troll Babar Azam’s men for a disappointing outing in an all-important match against New Zealand.
Here's how fans reacted:

Please double centuries by Imam and Babar please 🥺❤️#PakvsNZ
A kind of chance for Babar to silence the critics tomorrow by scoring a brilliant century, taking responsibility, either save the test match or go for the Win just like Pant bhai did against the aussies in aussie😽

If Pakistan wants to win this tomorrow then Babar, Imam and Shakeel need to play out of their skin, Sarfaraz and Masood should give support.

Tomorrow will be babar’s real test we have never seen a heroic 4th innings of him recently, guess this is the time #PakvsNZ
Abdullah Shafique is still the best batting talent in Pakistan. We should back him the whole way. @imabd28 #PakvsNZ pic.twitter.com/E7I5nIxMwc

Only thing that can help Pakistan tomorrow is +ive & intent full cricket. They need to come out of fear factor & go for victory, no silver bullet, no draw, result is on cards. Pakistan can pull in it's favour by showing some courage.
