The list was topped by Footballing great Cristiano Ronaldo, who earned 3.23 million USD every post. He was followed by his arch-nemesis Lionel Messi. The World Cup winner reportedly earns 2.56 million USD with every post. Kohli appeared at number 14 on the list with 1.38 million USD earned from each post. The figure roughly translates to 11.45 crores INR.

Virat Kohli will next be in action in the Asia Cup ODI 2023

Hopper HQ’s founder, Mike Bandar opened up on his company’s latest report. He said, "It's still shocking to me that the annual money made on the platform increases every year. Yet, what fascinates me more is the consistent players at the top. It's apparent that the glitz and glamour of traditional celebrities still hold power over the new 'influencer' status. Ronaldo and Messi not only dominate the pitch but also the digital sphere as it's clear they personify the power of personal branding and the influence it holds over us 'ordinary' people."

Talking of Kohli’s on-field commitments, he looked in tremendous form in the recently concluded two-match Test series against West Indies. The series saw him play in his 500th international game and score a century in it. He batted well for his 76-run knock in the first Test as well. He flew back home after the ODI series in a special private flight arranged by Global Air Charter services. Notably, he did not get the chance to bat in the first ODI and was dropped for the next two games. He will be in action in the upcoming Asia Cup ODI 2023 in Sri Lanka.
