Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are currently in the ninth spot with four points in seven games. They have won two games so far. Now, they are getting ready to face Delhi Capitals in Delhi on 29 April 2023. However, they lost against the same opponent in their last game at their home ground.

But, ahead of that clash, Aiden Markram and his men dealt a major blow as Washington Sundar gets ruled out of IPL 2023 due to a hamstring injury. In the last game, he performed well by grabbing three wickets and scoring 24* runs off 15 runs during the chase. Hence, seeing that news, fans shared their views on the social media platform.

As of now in IPL 2023, Washington Sundar has scored 60 runs and taken three wickets. SRH bowlers bowled well in the last game but still, due to batting failure, they ended up as the losing side. After the match, SRH skipper Markram said: “Incredibly proud of them and executed great game plans, kept it pretty simple, and used the conditions pretty well tonight. It's a pity we couldn't get the job done for them. Our bowlers didn't deserve to be on the losing side like this tonight."

However, in recent years, injury has been a part of Washington Sundar’s career. This is his third straight injury-interrupted season in the IPL. In 2021, he missed the UAE leg of the tournament due to a finger injury. After that, he missed several series for Team India due to Covid-19 and a hamstring injury. During the last IPL season, Sundar missed four games due to an injury to the bowling hand. After that, he injured his shoulder and missed another series for the Men in Blue. So, it is another setback in Sudar’s career as it might affect his international career also.
