Team India will be in action in the second Test on 17 February 2023 in Delhi against Australia in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The Men in Blue had a thumping victory by an inning and 132 runs in the first match. Ravindra Jadeja won the player of the match award for his excellent performance both with the bat and ball.

He took seven wickets in that match including a fifer in the first innings. With the bat, Jadeja scored 70 runs off 185 balls, including nine boundaries. So, fans were in an ecstatic mood after seeing the star all-rounder in action for India after a long time. Now, they will hope for such a form again in Delhi against the Aussies.

However, before the match in Nagpur, the pitch was in the headlines as fans were expecting a rank turner. After the match, during a press conference, Jadeja said that the pitch was actually slower and had less bounce than other Indian Test venues. He said: "No no, this is not a rank-turner at all. There is less bounce and the wicket is slow compared to other pitches in India. It was not difficult to defend today. As the Test match progresses, we might see more turns but that is natural everywhere."

"The ball was coming out of the hands well, and the line and length were also good. The wicket doesn't have much bounce so I was focussing on bowling stump to stump. I knew, if I do that, I can bring LBW and bowled into play," Jadeja added. Now, ahead of the Delhi Test, an image has gone viral where both Suryakumar Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja were seen monitoring the pitch closely. But, they were laughing while seeing the pitch and fans assumed that the pitch might be very spin-friendly. Regarding that image, fans came up with some viral memes on the social media platform.
