On 2 March 2023, England Women’s cricketer, Dani Wyatt confirmed her engagement to long-time girlfriend, Georgie Hodge. She shared an image of where both of them were seen kissing while Georgie was seen flaunting a beautiful engagement ring. She wrote a caption: “Mine forever.’

However, Dani Wyatt made headlines back in 2014 when she expressed her wish to marry Virat Kohli. Wyatt tweeted the proposal to Kohli and later, it was dismissed as a joke. So, after the cricketer made her official engagement, fans went crazy and shared some funny tweets about Virat Kohli on the social media platform.

Dani Wyatt has been a great player for England. Recently, she played in the Women’s 20-20 World Cup in South Africa. In those matches, she has scored 1776 and 2369 runs respectively. Now, speaking about her partner and long-time girlfriend Georgie, she is a football agent. She is also the head of women’s football at CAA Base, an agency dedicated to nurturing the careers of footballers.

Both of them got engaged in a very romantic manner in South Africa. Several cricketers Harleen Deol, Alexandra Hartley, Sarah Taylor, Pooja Vastrakar, Alana King, Veda Krishnamurthy, and Amelia Kerr congratulated the couple on the special occasion. Meanwhile, Dani Wyatt will not be a part of the first session of the Women’s T20 League in India as no franchises showed any interest in her. Wyatt also shared a message on social media regarding that and wrote: “Dreamt of playing in the Women’s T20 League. Heartbroken. Congrats to all who got picked up. India is a wonderful place to play cricket.” Her base price was INR 50 Lakhs in the auction.
