Virat Kohli is currently toiling hard to score big as India are looking to take a lead over Australia’s 480-run total in their first innings. Fans are hoping for a special knock from the former India skipper in this last Test in Ahmedabad. Since 2019, Kohli has failed to score big in the longest format of the game. So, fans were happy for him on day two when he scored a fifty. But, Shubman Gill stole the show on the same day.

He notched up his overall second and maiden home Test ton in style as Gill scored 128 runs off 235 balls. But, now a video has gone viral where Virat Kohli was seen teasing Gill while fielding during Australia’s first innings. Kohli was seen folding Shubman Gill’s hands and seeing that, fans have come out with some funny replies.

Both Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill have always shared a great bond between them. Gill has always shown a lot of respect and shown affection to the former India skipper. Speaking about Gill, he has been the most consistent player for team India across all three formats in recent months. In this match, he showed his class again and scored a magnificent century against the Aussies. 

It was a special moment for him as it was his first ton on home soil. Virat Kohli also played a gritty knock and finished day two after scoring 59* runs. He also put up a solid partnership of 58 runs with Gill. So, fans were expecting to see him again in such form in the first session of day four. However, he has not disappointed so far as Kohli was batting on 88* runs and India reached 362 runs for four wickets by the end of the first session.
