Venkatesh Prasad and Aakash Chopra have been in the headlines in recent times regarding the debate on KL Rahul’s place in the playing XI of team India. During this ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the former India pacer continuously questioned Rahul’s place while slamming the Indian Cricket Board for favoring him over other batters.

Then, the former batter was seen accusing Venkatesh Prasad of running an agenda against the star Indian batter. Now, on 21 February 2023, Prasad came up with a tweet against Chopra and they got involved in a Twitter game. But, fans went crazy when they saw Prasad liking a video on Twitter involving Aakash Chopra and Suniel Shetty.

Notable, Suniel Shetty is the father-in-law of KL Rahul as he got married to the Bollywood actress, Athiya Shetty recently. In that video, Chopra was seen calling Suniel Shetty as his mentor, guide, and a ‘Father like figure’. Speaking of the Twitter war, Venkatesh Prasad wrote: ”I have no agenda against any player, maybe there are others who have. Difference of opinion is fine but calling contrary views as apna personal agenda and Twitter par mat laayein is funny for @cricketaakash , considering he has made a great career by airing his views.”    

In reply to that, Chopra wrote: Venky bhai, msgs are getting lost in translation. You here. Me on YT. I invite you to come on a Video Chat…we can do it Live. Difference on opinions is nice…lets do it properly I’ll not have any sponsors on it & nobody will make money out of it. Up for it? You have my number.”

Then, Prasad wrote: “No Aakash, nothing is lost in translation. In your 12 minute video you have called me as an agenda peddler because it didn’t suit your narrative. It is crystal clear. And I have made my points very clear in this Twitter thread. Don’t wish to engage with you further on this.”
