Finally, the Pakistani skipper and star batter Babar Azam has proved himself and quietened the critics questioning his batting. Apart from all others, former Pakistani pacer Aaqib Javed may have been a guy today who had to eat his words which he used to criticize the strike rate of star Pakistani openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.
World number four batter Babar Azam smashed a swashbuckling centurion knock of 110 runs off 66 balls with 11 boundaries and five sixes to his name. He scored the runs in his innings with an amazing strike of 166.66.
Pakistani fans were also overwhelmed by this blistering performance from the Pakistani skipper. They took to Twitter to heap their praises on Babar and hit back at the critics who went on to count the latter’s batting ability.
Here’s how fans reacted to Babar Azam’s century:

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan sojourned there in the middle and made fun of the English bowling attack. They both created history by stitching an unbeaten partnership of 203 runs to win the match against Pakistan by a massive margin of 10 wickets. With this chase, the men in green have become the first team to chase a target of 200 without losing any wickets.
Speaking of the match, then the English skipper Moeen Ali won the toss and decided to bat first on the turf of the National Stadium in Karachi. The opening pair of senior batter Alex Hales and wicketkeeper-batter Phil Salt provided a good start of 42 runs for the first wicket in 5.1 overs.
Phil Salt played a crucial knock of 30 runs off 27 balls with a boundary and a six to his name. Other than him, Ben Duckett also played a quick knock of 43 off just 22 balls with seven boundaries. Besides these knocks, English skipper Moeen Ali played a brilliant captaincy knock of 55 runs off just 33 balls with four boundaries and four sixes to his name.
