Rohit Sharma, set to celebrate his 36th birthday on Sunday, will have a special surprise from his fans in Hyderabad. A 60ft cut out for Rohit Sharma will be unveiled on his birthday on 30th April in Hyderabad. People are calling it the biggest cutout for a cricketer ever. However, Rohit Sharma himself was welcomed with a 100 ft cut out by his fans in Kerala back in September.

The "All Kerala Rohit Sharma Fans Association," a group of Rohit's supporters, erected a massive cutout of the Indian captain outside the site. The fan club released the image on their official Twitter, where Mumbai Indians later reposted it. Team India had arrived in Thiruvananthapuram to lock horns with South Africa in the first game of the three-match series.

Rohit Sharma has struggled in the IPL 2023

There is no getting around the fact that Indian captain Rohit Sharma has had trouble scoring runs in the current IPL season. In the IPL 2023, the talismanic captain of the Mumbai Indians (MI) club has only scored one half-century. It is improbable that Rohit's injury-riddled Mumbai Indians team will qualify for the playoff round of the lucrative league this year.

On the 10-team points standings, Rohit's Mumbai Paltan is in eighth place. In their first seven games of the season, the five-time champions lost four. Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson expressed his opinions regarding Rohit's recent decline in performance and stated that the MI captain had been an inconsistent player for numerous seasons in the richest T20 league globally.

"It is a huge challenge to manage your mental energy. International cricketers around the world do play a lot of cricket, but Indian cricketers play it non-stop all year round. With Rohit Sharma now being captain of India now as well, it's even more on his plate. If he is a bit mentally fatigued, you can see why. When it comes to Rohit Sharma, we have seen him at his best, but in the last four or five years of the IPL, he hasn't been very consistent at all. It is hard to get your head around it because he is such a gun batter when he is going, taking on all the best bowlers in the world in all different conditions," Watson told The Grade Cricketer on YouTube.
