‘Kaviya maam ka boyfriend finally aagya’ - Fans react as Aiden Markram, Marco Jansen, and Heinrich Klaasen join Hyderabad camp for ITL 2023

The Hyderabad franchise suffered a humiliating loss at the hands of Rajasthan in their first game of the Indian T20 League 2023. Rajasthan defeated them by 72 runs and Hyderabad fans were worried seeing such a performance from the players. However, several players like Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klassen, and Marco Jansen were not available.

They were busy playing for South Africa in a three-match ODI series at home against the Netherlands. Hence, Bhuvneshwar Kumar did the captaincy in that match. But, now ahead of their second game, all these players have joined the Hyderabad camp. Seeing that image, fans went crazy and shared their views on the social media platform.

Hyderabad will take on Lucknow in their second game of ITL 2023

Before this season kicked off, Hyderabad announced Aiden Markram as their new skipper. The star Protea batter already won the SA20 tournament for the same franchise as he was the skipper of Sunrisers Eastern Cape. In that tournament, he impressed with the bat and his part-time off-spinning abilities. Markram was the player of the tournament as he scored 366 runs and grabbed 11 wickets. 

After being appointed as the captain of the Hyderabad and getting the opportunity to work with Brian Lara, Markram said: "Very excited. We have worked briefly together last year when he was batting coach and we got on really well, certainly looking forward to working with him. We actually going to meet up now, he is the batting coach for the West Indies Test series. So we are going to see each other a bit in the next two weeks”.

"We discussed yesterday that that's where we would start our planning in terms of the brand of cricket we would be playing and those sort of things. I am pretty sure we both will be on the same page when it comes to play a nice positive brand of cricket where guys can fully express themselves,” Markram added. However, Marco Jansen was also a part of Sunrisers Eastern Cape along with Markram and these three players had a great inaugural edition of SA20. So, all eyes will be on them when Hyderabad will take on Lucknow in their second game of ILT 2023.
