India and New Zealand are locking horns against each other in the second of the three-match ODI series. Both teams are playing this match at Seddon Park in Hamilton. Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson has decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Notably, the hosts are leading the three-match series by a margin of 1-0 with a win in the first match by seven wickets.
Apart from the action of the match, the Indian skipper Shikhar Dhawan and Indian management is on the receiving end of harsh criticism and trolls for benching Sanju Samson once again. Notably, Samson got a chance to feature in the playing XI during the first ODI against New Zealand but in the second ODI, the management made him to sit outside the field once again.
"Instead of Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar comes in and Deepak Hooda comes in place of Sanju Samson," said stand-in skipper Shikhar Dhawan at the time of the toss.
"We would have bowled first as there's moisture in the wicket. Even in the last game, the wicket was seaming for the first 10-15 overs, we got to keep the positive intent and go for the runs. We only need 10 percent of improvement, and it makes a huge impact and especially in the death bowling, we got to be a bit smarter,” he added later.
This decision from the skipper and management didn’t go down well with the Indian cricket fans and they immediately took to the social media platform, Twitter for lashing out at their approach and ignoring Sanju Samson once again.
Here’s how fans reacted to Sanju Samson’s exclusion from the playing XI of the second ODI:

Sanju Samson was dropped again. Like Rishabh Pant, give him chance in at least 10-15 matches and then see his results.#SanjuSamson #RishabhPant pic.twitter.com/5HaZIcZnSr

Once again they underline it #SanjuSamson is their easiest target. Not to forget he is dropped for Bangladesh ODIs as well, but Pant & Ishan are'nt.

No Godfather in Selection Comittee
How a player feel last match he played well and the next game he is out of the team
One more thing last game failures get the next match also
It's enough you don't pick Sanju for any series and also don't do it anyone else.Hurted pic.twitter.com/pnjvtHy1CV
This is horrible. Sanju has to sit out even after doing well in ODIs. What else this guy needs to do yaar. Absolute favoritism.
