Over the last few years, there have been several cricket-based movies. As cricket is considered a big market in India, Indian filmmakers are more inclined to make movies about the sport. Be it biopics or fictional stories, cricket-oriented films are more often than not, loved by all.

Thus, a movie titled "Mr and Mrs Mahi", which is supposed to be based on cricket itself, is all set to release in October. As a matter of fact, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, who happens to be the lead actress of this movie, has started training at a cricket camp. The daughter of the late actress Sridevi and Boney Kapoor recently shared images of the cricket camp on Instagram. She is seen with cricketer Dinesh Karthik and Sharan Sharma, the director.

According to a report by Khaleej Times, Rajkummar Rao plays the role of Mahendra, while Janhvi takes on as Mahima. The movie is rumoured to be inspired by India's legend MS Dhoni, and his wife Sakshi Dhoni. This wouldn't be the first time that a movie is made on the "captain cool".

A biopic named MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, which featured the late Sushant Singh Rajput playing the role of Dhoni was released in 2016. As for the lead actors of Mr and Mrs Mahi, Janhvi and Rajkummar were last seen in Roohi, a horror comedy.

It is to be seen if their upcoming movie turns out to be a success or not. In the meanwhile, the Dhadak-star and her sister Khushi Kapoor had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month. She took to her social media handle to tell her followers the same.
